Handmade Material: Enameled stoneware Completely free of toxic heavy metals (like cadmium and lead) and carcinogens found in other, less robust, ceramic forms.
This stoneware is handmade by ceramists, making each piece unique. You may notice small fingerprints on the base or grid imprints from firing—these are marks of true craftsmanship. Packaging marks and superficial utensil marks, especially on matte finishes, are normal and not defects. Both can be easily removed.
