Walk in the Woods Blend

Crafted exclusively for Walden Local Meats. This blend is inspired by the philosophy of Henry David Thoreau and evokes the serenity and invigoration of a forest stroll. Herbaceous with a spark of lemon, it's perfect for chicken, fish, and pork or adding a bright twist to grain salads and dressings. In 2011, Charley and his wife Kristen sat down to a roast chicken from a neighbor’s farm and had a revelation: food from small, industrious farms simply tastes better. So, they set out to make it easy for folks across the Northeast to enjoy meat raised with integrity. Walden Local was born. Since then, we’ve become your personal farmer’s market — partnering with over 60 independent family farms across the Northeast to deliver responsibly-raised meat and provisions to your doorstep.
